Facilities of
The Quiet Mind Centre
 The
Centre is an attractive and spacious building which provides a welcoming and
friendly place to visit. The comfortable furniture in the therapy rooms and
waiting areas are complemented by the many plants around the premises creating a
welcoming and homely feel to the Centre.
The Centre has eight therapy rooms which are available for
therapists to hire in the
evenings and at weekends (also available for hire to therapy students for case
study work). Please enquire for the rate for non Quiet Mind volunteers.

- Large hallway with well-stocked library consisting of books of
comparative religion, mind, body and spirit and also complementary
approaches to healthcare.
- Large reception room with new books for sale.
- Separate Waiting Room also with various items for sale such as bric-a-brac, home-made jams
and second-hand books. Client notice board.
- Light, airy corridor, lined with plants, leading to the ground floor
therapy rooms with notice board.
- Four ground floor therapy rooms with hydraulic couches, trolleys
and en-suite facilities.
- Meditation/quiet room/interview room.
- Staff office.
- Staff kitchen.
- Staff cloakroom.
- Client cloakroom
- Four first floor therapy rooms - some with hydraulic couches,
trolleys and en-suite facilities.
- Teaching room - first floor - available for hire. Ring for details.
- Disabled access to all the ground floor rooms.
- Parking in front of the building for six vehicles.
- Parking is also available in Hartley Road and adjacent roads.
